Funny Beckhams name being mentioned as I have this feeling that before the start of next season we will see him in the stripes. His career started at the Goldstone, one of a few players still playing who played there. Would be a great coup for the club to get him in for the main warm up event

Unfortunately the days of top flight footballers dropping down the divisions at the end of their career to earn a few more quid have long gone. They used to need the money, now they've got so much they never need to work again.
