Looking at those pictures there does seem to be LOADS more police than at a normal wolves match.
Of course there are.........don't you have any knowledge of the history between Wolves and West Brom????

I'm always astounded when people trot out this one.

By the way, how come you were there?
I wasn't but have spoken to Cardiff fans AND Wolves fans since, and they all agreed who was to blame.

Timbo: I can say without a shadow of a doubt that the trouble inside Molineux during last year's Wolves v Cardiff game came about as a direct result of out-and-out thuggery by officers from the West Midlands Police. I was initially caught right in the middle of the disturbances whilst queuing for a pie (that'll teach me), and I can tell you honestly that I've never witnessed police violence on a scale anywhere near similar in more than thirty years of following Cardiff City.

Naturally enough, I've seen many, many outbreaks of trouble at Cardiff matches down the years but, although I've witnessed plenty of over-reaction and heavy-handed policing when these incidents have occurred, I wouldn't direct the blame for any of them in the direction of the police. That was until last March's game at Molineux, where the brutality from the WMP riot squad was quite incredible.

I've never experienced anything like it before or since.

Surely nobody can claim that at a match between Cardiff and Wolves, nobody is there for a row.

The Police turn up to stop it, obviously they love to put on a bit of a show of strength, but if nobody wanted to fight in the first place, the Police wouldn't be there!

Fair enough. First hand account and a bit of honesty there, so I'll take it as fact.

It does annoy me though when you get 100 lads all together ready for a row and then at the first sign of trouble, people blame the Police.

There are more police at any match involving Cardiff due to their reputation.....still doesn't give them the right to do what they did at Moleneux.

west mids police are a bunch of cock jugglers. pal of mine got a three year ban after an incident under the stand at wolves. the incident was some knobhead copper shoving into his back which caused him to jolt his arm and spill his beer down another wankstain of a copper. he was then arrested for assault and since banned. all went off at birmingham in the cup before that because of the cockcheese coppers under the stand spoiling our little beer fight.

anyway. we'll be on the happy clappy bubble match coaches for our game in a few weeks. shame we can't have a beer of our own accord and discuss my good pal petes merits, LB.

Beach hut gives a shit seeing as he's a season ticket holder that should guarantee him as many seats as he wants for EVERY away game in the world, even if they dont involve Brighton!

I've had a couple of meetings with your mate Pete in recent weeks. He seems to be doing a fine job here, even if he has been somewhat economical with the truth on occasions since he took over as chairman.

The bubble trip: have you had any travel restrictions for any other matches this season? We have, and it's getting ridiculous now. The list so far this season has been as follows;

Leeds - bubble trip.
Hull - voucher exchange at service station instead of tickets (a sort of semi-bubble!).
Wolves - banned.
Spurs - voucher exchange.
Coventry (next week) - as above.
