In the kitchen
Our bus, like all of them I suspect, was rammed to the point where the last one through the back door (yes I know!) had the be pulled on creating such a squeeze that no one stood a chance of falling over despite the bus driver’s best efforts.

BUT one lad organised the singing from his high vantage point and made it a much more tolerable journey back. Songs ranged from the timely “tear gassed in Athens, battered in Marseilles, w***** off in Amsterdam. ….”, to Johnny Crumplin, via Knockhart, Murray, Zamora, Mayo, Gary Hart, etc. Don’t think I heard “Doug is Evil” but there was a shout of “One Kenny Beamish” from the front.

A middle aged woman near me looked a little disgusted at the start yet a few minutes late I copped her mouthing the “wan*** off in Amsterdam” song.

Well done sir. Very timely quips of “when in Rome”. Thank you. 🤣🤣
I was on that bus, one of our group started the Kenny Beamish song! He is about 100 years old though....

The lad at the back was class, made a potentially grim bus ride back a pretty good laugh

Glad no one got a pic of me sitting down there pissing in a pint glass. Don't judge me I couldn't move and my bladder was about to explode !!

Styled it out well and no one could see my micro penis anyway.
I filled three while we waited for the police to let us out.

Yes, I am impressed with myself. Mainly for not spilling any of them over me.

Then, I slipped on the stairs on the way out and have an 8-inch round bruise on my arse and a swollen knee.

f***ing karma.

In fairness, those stairs were a death trap. Covered in plastic, piss and lager. I clung to the germ filled bannister for my life.

I was quite surprised when I saw the Albion complaint as mid/top left was almost a constant stream of items being thrown by both sides. The first plastic pint pot I personally saw luzzed was definitely from our side of the fence.

I wasn’t in Marseille but certainly felt like we had an ‘element’ out this week and it may be a larger one Thursday coming.
