I'd rather believe the Environment Agency than the radio.

There were area's where the reservoir's were in danger, but most of our supplies come from underground aquifers so don't have evaporation. There was enough rain/snow this winter to top them up enough down here.

Would the radio have not got their information from the Environment Agency?

Despite the cold & cloudy weather in June, we are now just at 'average' rainfall for June as a whole. Admittedly we are only 19 days in the month.
I guess we have all got used to it being so dry for so long.

I can't remember a June as cold or showery as this one, so much for the drought!

Been plenty of cold and wet June's, even in the last 20 years.

What stands out this time is the relentless bloody wind and gusts.
