Peter Ward is arriving hopefully Thursday morning landing at Heathrow at 6 am and is there anyone who is by the off chance around or would like to give him a lift from Heathrow to Brighton picking him up about 7 am. Its a long shot I know but WHAT an opportunity to talk football with the guy for 90 minutes.

It would be an HONOUR but I start work at 6am and I don't think my skipper will approve

i don't mean to moan, honest, but shouldn't you have sorted this out already?

HE called me at 9 pm saying he will land at 6 am Thursday as he did not know until tonight when he would because of the air traffic problems and I posted on here in 5 minutes to see if I could arrange it. What eactly do you mean ?.

On second thoughts f*** it, forget it. I will arrange it but just thought I would put the offer out as I genuinely thought someone might like to.

straightforward really. and no need for the normal fit of pique.

if he's the main draw, i'd have thought that his transport would have been sorted earlier. simple.

The point is, because of all the disruption with the planes at the moment, Wardy was delayed in getting here and wasnt sure when he would arrive.

He called Gareth today to say when he was arriving and it was then posted on here.

No one has left it to the last minuite, no one has forgotten to do it, its just the way it has worked out.

How can you sort his transport until you know what time he's arriving?
