Darren Bond is the February model on my referees calendar. It's a full frontal of Hoops next month with nothing but a red card covering his modesty.

Bond, Darren Bond was excellent again today. Waived away Aribo’s booing after one of our goals and let the game flow (all one way).
I agree.
He realises that the game isn't about him (he's the polar opposite of the retired Mike Dean). And he's probably the least recognised of PL referees.

The games with Darren Bond in charge flow far better than most games.
I'd like to hear him mic'd up for a game. I'd imagine we would be hearing him say, "Get on with it!" quite a lot.

Robert Jones reffed Fulham out of the game yesterday.

Marco Silva very unhappy with him.

I've seen him do this many times, starts favouring one side, the other complains and he does it more.

Against us at the Amex so many times since it opened. When Albion players take issue with decisions, refs often appear annoyed by that and spend the rest of the game favouring the team that didn’t complain.

Very lenient. Let a couple of very clear bookings go, but was consistent with this for both teams. Generally had a decent game.

I would hope that our club had worked out whether anything like this is true. If it is, I would expect our players to know before each game whether complaints to the ref (even if justified) would result in things going against us. Which refs allow harder challenges than others. etc

Hopefully. It was particular notable in the Poyet Amex seasons imho, he did nothing to rein it in.

Really strange as in L1 he/we just let the football do the talking. Perhaps because we were a class above?
