Well, some of us know a lad who pops in from Australia once a year - beat that! And another well known 'old timer (heh heh) from Selangore Malaysia. Always here for the finale.

Mike is a mere 160 miles round trip from my wine lake. And if anyone else says 'this is a local team for local people' there you f-ucking will be having some trouble, here.

:)

Well, speaking for myself, I was once local (back in the mid 70s), which is when I started supporting the Albion. Work commitments meant I had to move out of the area but, of course, once you've picked your team (or it has picked you), you're stuck with it for life, aren't you? I suspect that many who travel long distances to follow the Albion are very similar.

The "local team for local people" comment was either fishing or offensive - take your pick!

The young Miss Bracknell once travelled from Fiji to get to see Adam Virgo score his goal in the play-off semifinal against Swindon. But that was a mere one-way trip and obviously doesn't count.

Me and my 3 young lads are STs in the North Stand and have a round trip of 264 miles every home game, we're on the north Bucks/Northamptonshire border. We like to make a day of it, so on a Saturday we leave home about 9.30am and get home about 10.15am, so a 13 hour day, and just back to local pub for MOTD.

It's about the same round trip for us to go to Leeds v Brighton!

I've been a fan for 38 years, and my 3 lads a total of 33 years between them.

This is a fine example of parenting today. And good to hear I'm not the only Bucks outpost.

Same situation here, if anyone thinks that I should support my now local team they can go and do one, there is no way I will support Gillingham.

330 round trip from Norfolk or going back to the 1980's is another measurement, they think Maggie is still PM up here and we still have half day closing on a Wednesday!

156 mile round trip. Will make the most out of this relatively short journey as in all probability it'll be going up to 296 soon

And if anyone thinks I should start supporting my nearest club in South London they can definitely do one; even if they are in the Premier League this season.

There's 3 Essex Seagulls so far...and me makes 4! Used to get the train but can't face it anymore as the Saturday carriages are full of Happy Hammers, Spurs knobheads and, when it gets to Stratford, Millwall....now I drive so 170 odd miles door to door.
