When we went to Cyprus for 3 months they had a water ban for residents every other day so could we not do similar. It meant every body saving their water from one day to the nest for kettles etc. Could water not be taken from the seas for use commercially for gardens allotments etc or at home where it doesnt have to be as pure as for drinking. Again I am sure Spain etc have water coming out the tap that is said to be not fit for drinking unless boiled first but it is ok for car washing washing machines and cooking etc.

Get a pipe down south please!!!

If a pipeline can be stretched to carry oil and gas around Siberia and Alaska then we can get a hosepipe down through England to carry water.

Edit: i did not quite read your reply-well get a pipe down from Scotland then....:stupid:

Aye. Scotland gets most of the water, the highlands being the wettest.
