Konsa would replace Guehi in England's defence. Dunk should replace Guehi in England's defence.

This.
Even the waist coated wonder surely can’t pass Dunky up this time.
He really must hate us as a club.
Or maybe he just doesn’t think Lewis can hoof it as far a Konsa or “just boot it” Jordan
He's probably concerned Dunk might try to pass it to Pickford or one of the other defenders rather than smashing it long.

Which is ironic, because Dunk can play a long ball better than any of them anyway.

I worry about dunk being exposed in counter attacks but I think his passing range offers us something different.

There’s absolutely no way it should be the right footed and extremely poor defensively Gomez. So let’s look at the fight between Dunky and Konsa.

Dunk, though also right footed, has played LCB semi regularly and offers that raking diagonal and is comfortable as first or second receiver. Konsa is quicker and, dare I say it, had a better season.

A fair bit will depend on if Southgate thinks that Walker and Stones can shift across one and Trent comes in at Right Back.

I wouldn’t rule out any of the three options.

Not sure how Konsa has suddenly jumped over Dunk in the pecking order at CB for many.

Dunk has played a lot more in the England games prior to the tournament. In 2 of his last 3 games he played alongside Stones.

Konsa's starts prior to the Euros have all been at right back.

He did get some minutes in the last match, but that was as an emergency left back.

He was ... But apparently Konsa has impressed the most in training. I think Gomez has been sulking so dunk still ahead of him.
Is Konsa a left sided CB?

I'd think Dunk would play but I know nothing. Swiss would be the better opposition for Dunk rather than one of the more pacey sides, but in all honesty the last thing we need is LD being the scapegoat of the tournament. I cba with him missing a penalty or having a mare against Embolo. It's just better he doesn't play unfortunately. As someone else said, he's missed the window tbh. Kinda sums GS up that he picks LD when he's past his best.

Let's hope I'm wrong, he plays, and becomes a national hero.
