Unfortunately the best PM during my lifetime cannot come back to sort Europe out, as she would, as she passed away in April 2013.

That would be the PM who ended up out of a job over the EU.

In a vote of no-confidence, if Boris gets kicked out, then there is 14 days for another Government ( lead by this poll winner !! ) to win a subsequent confidence vote without an election.

Didnt I hear that if he loses he doesnt have to go and then The Queen would have to either sack him or re affirm him to ciontinue. In a vote of no confidence IMHO the MPs should vote according to the result in their constituencies not on a personall preference, the nations wishes shouyld take precedence.

You could have heard that, but you seem not to have heard that that only applies if an alternative Government with confidence doesn't form within the 1st 14 days.

This shouldnt even be considered the country voted to leave and leave they should but hang on lets have another vote and keep on until those that want to remain get a majority, and forget democracy and the wishes of the people.

Without wishing to hijack this thread, you make some valid points about democracy.

I know that you are a pensioner. I, myself will be drawing my state pension in a (very) few years time.

If the economy suffers as many economists say, from a "No Deal" Brexit I am sure that you will agree, that we should all suffer the burden. If the worst comes to worst, shouldn't we forgo all pension rises until the economy is right, or even take some pension cuts?

I voted remain but am happy to take the hit. We don't just hit the workers and democracy is protected.

What are you talking about? If you are talking about the EU Referendum, that is entirely invalid, as an indicator of the public's wishes regards a no-deal Brexit. Nobody has ever had an opportunity to express their wishes for or against that - in fact Vote Leave campaigned very explicitly on the premise that a 'no-deal' was out of the question, and that we would 'only leave with a good deal in place'. So, I presume you would instruct those MP in constituencies that supported that campaign, to vote down the government?
