Ali Mac looks like he has no nerves whatsoever so I'd go with him. If he isnt playing then Maupay or Gross depending on what kind of day they're having.

Having never played the game at the highest level, or even near, I’m a firm believer that the players and management know best so will leave up to them.

Should be Mac. Goalkeeper will guess the right way on occasions so you need to tear his hands off like Mac did on Saturday, alas I don’t see him a regular starter for Potter at the moment, rightly or wrongly. So we’re a bit snookered, obvs Neal is flawed and I don’t know if Gross hugely convincing either - but he’ll probably take the next lot

I was going to suggest Lallana, but seen he’s only ever taken 1 spot kick (and scored, for England).

Big Bobby Sanchez. I reckon if he put his foot through the ball he'd put the net, goal and if he got anywhere near it the keeper into the stand.

Otherwise Ally Mac, Gross, Maupay.

No point over thinking this.

One of our regulars is a German. If you need a penalty scoring, which nationality do you call?

Gross has never looked convincing. He has missed two (Fulham, West Brom) and his other penalties have been, in the main, unconvincing.

Maupay has now missed four from nine which is pretty unacceptable especially as for two of them he failed to even hit the target.

If Alexis Mac is on the field he should take them till he misses. He’s two from two and that penalty last night was as good as I’ve seen from us in years.
