Who remembers when Ipswich Town were great?

Just found a lovely picture of the Ipswich Team from 1981. Hard to think of another English football team remembered so fondly by neutrals (well, apart from Norwich fans!).

Cooper, Muhren, Thijssen, Wark, Gates, Mariner, Brazil - what a fabulous team.

And of course, our very own Russell Osman!

I remember Pete Ward dumping their defenders on their arses, and them out of the cup in the mid 70's.
They were a top team back then, and we were in the 3rd I believe.

And didn't Gary Stevens V-sign Bobby Robson a few years later?!
