Don't like the way Adams teams play football but if it gets results then can't really complain. McGhee was a long ball man, personally liked Wilkins teams get the ball on the floor and play it around

all i remember under mcghee was us sitting back and holding onto 1-0 leads - wouldnt call it quality football, but it was certainly effective for one and a half seasons

That's exactly how i saw mcghees football uninspiring with no future - With Wilkins he was constantly trying to develop players young and old in games if Dick had stuck with him it would have always paid dividends - i am afraid Mickey was a short sighted appointment and will not develop the squad and is nothing but a short term fix IMO.

bollocks to the lots of 'em the best football we've played in the last 10 years was when Coppell was in charge.

ALthough the football we played toward the end of Adams' first reign was sublime.
