Dogs are incredible. Sadly I can no longer keep a dog.

You know I respect you but I feel that the mods should not be allowed to post. That is a right to lose. If you are going to be a mod you should be just that, not be allowed to comment. So people who are mods should just, er, mod. Too many mods pitching in now and it does not serve nsc well imo.

If that were to be the case might I respectfully request that Bozza makes you a mod ?

No dog currently but I keep getting nagged by the kids and better half that we need one. I've agreed just as long as one of them clears the sh1t from the garden and walks it when it's p1ssing down with rain.

Favourites at the moment are a Springer or a Flat Coated Retriever.

1: Meetings are held at a secret location once a year. The blood of a virgin (bloody hard to find these days TBH) is smeared over a Ouija board and the name of an NSC'er is then decided by the spirits who spell it out.
2: No, but there are mod erections, due to the special porn area of NSC to which Bozza gives us exclusive access.
3: Yes, but only if the spirits spell out his name.

You copied UKIP then ?

I thought some people on NSC had gone and created a new forum for people like US who are a little touchy? What happened to that site?

Back on topic, I hate dogs. I know that's a huge generalisation, but I just can't stand them. Worse still are dog owners who think that everyone will automatically love their pets as much as they do. A few weeks ago I took my three year old son to the beach with some sandwiches. This stupid dog, the same height as my son came bounding over, started eating our sandwiches and scaring my son. The dumbass owner walked slowly over thinking we would fine it funny. When she noticed my food had gone and my son was crying his eyes out, she put it back on the leash and took it away - no apology. She then asked if my son would like to pat her dog now he's on the leash. It's not often I swear often, but I gave her a volley of abuse.

What did she do? She walked away five metres and let the dog off the leash again - and it went and did the exact same thing to another family.

I'm sat on a train heading south towards Helsinki with my wife who buried her dad on Saturday. It's a long journey home. I can't help but think of all the NSC posters that have lost loved ones over the years that I have been a member of this online community. I also can't help but notice that none of them have carped on about their personal loss for 6 months as if it were the only tragedy to ever befall mankind.

Myself and Mrs V had an almost identical experience on the Undercliff last year except the woman had two dogs, neither seemed under her control. Ditto with the no apology too, then ditto with letting the dogs off the leash again. I did not lose my temper or get abusive although looking back maybe I should have. I was very close to saying something along the lines of " so, who did you borrow these dogs from ?" Or " When you walk these dogs next time you had best bring your husband to control the dogs "

This. On the plus side, you don't have to worry about anyone in our family getting a dog.

I used to work with a proper dog BORE, every time some people in the office started talking about their CHILDREN she'd suddenly pipe up with a story about her DOG as if she was comparing like with like. She even used to bring it along to company socials and couldn't comprehend that I didn't appreciate it coming over to me and slobbering all over my leg. By all means have a dog, but keep the drooling, smelly, bollock-licking, shitting ANIMAL away from me.
