you know some abuse it. why is it the mods pitched in within 5 minutes with 4000 members 2 came in and mods, er strange that. So give us some intelligance Bozza.

Because we happened to be logged in, and reading this thread, I'd imagine. Same reason you contributed.

I've got a chihuahua, and she's bloody brilliant. She doesn't really like people in general, which I find an admirable trait.

Oh, and for what it's worth US, I'm not a mod and I didn't think Bozza's comment appeared to be directed at you. I know my dog gives me a sneaky grin every time I get the little plastic bag out, appearing to think that she's in control.

Shall I go and check what posts I've made on other threads tonight, US, or would that ruin your argument?

You seem to be trying to make out this is some sort of conflict.

Sort of Mods vs Cockers?

Do I believe the mods gang up ? absolutely, they are a clique. They have their favourites and fawn over certain people and not others. No different to many others I am sure.

This is a bigger conspiracy theory than the nonsense that the usual suspects come out with.

But, humour me please, what did I do? Did I quickly text all the moderators and tell them to get online and abuse you?

And, going back to my first post, please explain quite how it does abuse you because I really still don't get it.

You know I respect you but I feel that the mods should not be allowed to post. That is a right to lose. If you are going to be a mod you should be just that, not be allowed to comment. So people who are mods should just, er, mod. Too many mods pitching in now and it does not serve nsc well imo.

That is an awful idea, unless mods are going to be paid to do the job. Why should someone be expected to patrol the forum and not be allowed to contribute?

So moderators should be people that never use the site at all?

And, again, how did my original post abuse you? Please.

What a downright odd suggestion. Where exactly would you find these non-posting moderators? Are you going to pay them? Or are you going to find a group of people with no interest in the site, other than a burning desire to give up hours of their time per week for nothing?

"You know I respect you"?

You've accused him of being spiteful and personally targeting/mocking you, and you're now saying that?

What you're basically saying with your main point here is that you don't think a mod should be able to post on NSC, essentially because I've challenged your (rather self-absorbed, in my opinion) assumption that someone was having a dig at you. I've disagreed with you so I shouldn't be permitted to post. Is that it in a nutshell?

What a bizarre thread this turned out to be.

We have five dogs: two staffs, one increasingly blind Cocker, a huge German Shepherd cross and a cocker x Newfoundland. All lovely. All spoilt rotten.

" If I could shit wherever I wanted and you followed behind picking it up, I'd be kind to you too. " Here. It Assumed my Dog did not give a **** about our bond. It trivilaliased our bond. It rubbished 9 extra months I gave him due to love and care. It was a throw away comment. It had no feeling or empathy at all.

Hey look I'm an outsider here but that is harsh. The bloke lost his dog and took the post about picking up shit rather personally. Probably wrongly - but totally understandable. Show some bloody compassion FFS!!!
