Rees-Mogg.

A caricature of every right wing idiot out there. Bangs on about what he insists is best for the country whilst living an affluent life completely immune from the problems being suffered by the common man.

When this is all over he can slink back to his country pile and absolve himself of all responsibility.

I can’t stand him.

Know a couple of people who 100% voted Tory, but would never admit to it. If you’re that ashamed of voting for them then maybe that’s a sign that you shouldn’t have voted for them.

Rees Mogg

He is powered by an obsession with money and possessions and has spent a life time of privilege and entitlement.

He made sure his investments went offshore after Brexit and has profited by £7m or so.

To make a political point, he happily let’s his children stand outside his house and witness abuse from lefty idiots rather than let their nanny usher them indoors.

Grade A ****!

All of the above . . . . It's understandable people from certain areas of society would vote Tory, self serving, protectionism etc, they have everything to lose . . . . but the majority? just hoodwinked by the media.

As someone said on another thread, It's not the EU who've shafted them, it's their own governments, for decades, you can see why they voted leave, but frankly there never going to get what they want. MAny probably don't know whats good for them!

IT's all going more horribly wrong by the day and I predict very troubled times for many people.

Anarchy and revolution seemr the only viable options at the moment, politics is utterly broken, there's no viable party to govern.

Says more about the people that vilify them than it does about those who exercise their right to choose who they wish to vote for!

And how would you know who they voted for if they never admit it?

Somewhat akin to that might be Gerald Ratner standing up at a party conference many years and saying that the stuff (jewellery) he sold in his stores was cr@p. Total lack of respect for his customers...... to say the least.

Unlike most politicians, at least he was telling the truth. :lolol:

They're known as 'Shy Tories' and there are a fair few of them - they are essentially the reason why the Tories nearly always do better in elections than the polls predict, although I believe the pollsters do try to factor them into their calculations these days.

Strange old thread being regurgitated by Herr Tubs.
Why? Is it just to give the grumpier lefties something to cheer themselves up with, whilst the decent Labour Party of old has been hijacked by a bunch of Marxists, some of whom may be a serious danger to this country.
Better to have a poll on what should be done to regain the Labour party from the shysters who are presently in control, so that the reasonable lefties in the country have someone to vote for, rather than have pop gun shots at perceived Tory caricatures.

how about the "yeah but Labour..." Tory.

This is the type who, due to a chronic lack of intelligence and an inability to construct an argument like an adult, is unable to defend anything bad that the Tories do and just replies with something along the lines of "yeh but Labour/Corbyn/lefties etc"

there are a few on this thread- see if you can spot them
