Who is the most under-rated Albion player over the past 15 years or so?

Tommy Frazer for me - never spectacular (apart from that overhead kick) but he was always a player who seemed to be doing EXACTLY what the manager asked of him, even at the expense of his own game

I would second this - always gave 100% and a useful midfielder in lower leagues. A lot of players that are on this thread were rated at the level they were playing at. CKR is another good shout although for us he did blow hot and cold but obviously had talent.

Simon Morgan, shame it was the end of his career but he was class and organised the back four brilliantly, Danny Cullip took all the applause but Morgan was the real star.

Also Dean Hammond, I'd have him bach at the Albion anytime, we miss a ball winner and powerhouse in the middle of the park with aerial dominance.

Ha, I looked through the whole thread to see if someone had mentioned Morgan and one response from the end you have!

So yes, I vote Simon Morgan. He was much better than Cullip and Butters and for that matter anyone else who played at CB for us before the Poyet era.

You couldn't have looked too hard as I mentioned him on the second page of replies.

Darius Henderson. I thought he was a quality foil for Knight when he was here but most seemed pleased when he moved on.

Definetly Kishishev. How we could have done with another 2 to3 years of him running things in the middle.
And Crosby is a player that we thought might be found wanting once we had, gone up to the championship but he got there with Scunny and did a sterling job.
Years back Ian Mellor often got stick from the idiots because he never clattered goalkeepers or ended up covered in mud - he was far to smart for all that business - but created so much for that young lad who played up alongside him. Also discarded too early in my opinion.

Craig Maskell. Never a favourite of mine but made vital contributions to the 4 goals that we scored in the last 4 games of the '97 Great Escape, which gave us those precious 8 points.
