Who is staying the night in Cardiff?

I'll be there Saturday and Sunday nights. Hopefully two great victories to celebrate.

Hope to mingle with a few like-minded seagulls during and after the Palace game.

Saturday and Sunday...:drink: :clap2: Central Cardiff.

Laughing Bluebird...any good places to eat that you'd recommend? Nothing outlandishly expensive but half-decent?

Yes, the only unseemly bit to thursday night was thick as shits going over and trying to wind up Swindon, although if the boot was on the other foot and they`d just nicked it off us like we did I doubt their reaction wouldn`t have been much different. Felt genuinely sorry. Personally going to stay in Gloucester and travel down on the train cos I don`t want to get in any rucks with palace Sat night as my 6 yr old is with me. :) :) :)

I have kids, so we are going to a restaurant, Sunday night. Drinking age for diners is 16, and they would get bored in a pub. we thought this looked pretty funky!

Pleased to see more Albion fans!

Vicar: I hate to pass on a negative, but we had our office Christmas do in Las Iguanas last year. It was, without a doubt, the worst meal I've ever paid for, and the service was absolutely atrocious. We were in a party of 40 or so, and I don't think one of us enjoyed their food.

Of course, as it was a Christmas do, we were all having meals from their 'seasonal' menu as opposed to their normal menu, so I suppose you could expect a bit better value at this time of year.

That said, the meals we were served up with came in small portions and a lot of the food was either cold or under-cooked (particularly the steaks, which were shocking). And the attitude of the staff was abysmal.

I saw Bwian's message, and to be honest I'm not a great one for eating out. I was going to give my sister a ring and get some recommendations for him. But the one thing I was definitely going to say to him was this: steer well clear of Las Iguanas!

Thanks for the tip TLB-cross that place off of my list.

Looks like the first half decent looking Thai restaurant gets our business on Saturday night-Sunday? Who knows? Unless TLB's sister comes up with any interesting suggestions...

Her top three tips are:

1) Portos (St Mary Street)

2) The Thai Empire (Wood Street)

3) La Brasserie (St Mary Street)

I went to Portos myself last year and it was excellent. But there are loads and loads of restaurants in the centre of town within walking distance of the stadium, whatever type of food you fancy.

Staying sat and sun nights in Bath, which is rather convenient really. If we lose, I can piss off out of Cardiff sharpish, if we win I can hang around and celebrate for a bit:clap2: :drink:
