Nope, been for my Sunday morning swim, came home and tackled a pile of ironing. Just going to chill for a bit with TMS, have lunch, watch the Grand Prix then head out to do some gardening...the grass won't cut itself, plus there is a patch that needs re-seeding.

I've got a dog to take to the park and a marine fish tank that needs some algae removing but I can't really be bothered!

Stuff the chores, we're going for cruise along the Jurassic Coast from Poole Harbour, followed by a family meal at The Shell Bay. Much as I can't wait to return to Brighton, there are still some benefits of living in Dorset.
How do you re-seed? Can you just lob a load of seed onto patchy grass, water a bit and hope for the best or is there more to it than that?
(I'm happy to do a job shoddily if there's a chance of success, rather than invest time to do it properly)

SLACKER! Yesterdays washing brought in, folded and put away, another load of washing on, 5 shirts ironed for the week & hoovering done all before mid-day. Just waiting for Tesco to turn up with the shopping then the rest of the day is mine.

Chores already done so today I am watching the cricket and Grand Prix followed by the Moto GP tonight, all the while smirking as my colleagues struggle to cope with the final onslaught of Secret Garden Party revellers wanting fresh bread.

Pretty much just that, but a little bit more. Last year I raked out a load of moss and re-seeded those bits, this time it is to put some grass on a patch that was previously under a now removed tree. On the packet it says to mix the seed in with some soil but also to prepare the ground by making holes in it and watering it. You also need to keep the ground well watered after planting, seemed to work reasonably well last year.
