Looking at the attendances it would appear there is every chance of getting a ticket for the many minor events but bear in mind the lengthy travelling times in and about London,TV seems a better option.

i've loved watching the beach volleyball so far and would love to have gone

one question for you because i've wondered while watching...is the MC annoying? between every point he seems to be shouting out random crap and it just sounds really annoying, i like the music but is there a need for his commentary?

There are different MCs throughout the day - the one yesterday morning wasn't too bad and was doing his best to explain the game and also to get the crowd going. Once the crowd got going, he wasn't having to speak so often. He kept reminding people that this wasn't Wimbledon and that you are allowed to make noise during the game. I imagine the later sessions need less encouragement as the booze will be flowing nicely.

A very similar experience at the handball with some Euro-guy attempting to impart some of the facets of the sport to the spectators and frequent bursts of music. "Under Pressure" for someone about to take a penalty was probably the most amusing.

Where's the option for 'Yes, for Olympics and Paralympics, and the test event at the velodrome earlier in the year. Oh, and for other stuff in the future too'?

The seaside.
Three evenings of Team GB hockey for me, men tomorrow, women on Thursday and tomorrow week.

London Bridge is going to be an absolute nightmare tomorrow - busiest day of the entire games with horsey stuff at Greenwich thrown into the mix - so am toying with either (a) Victoria-West Ham tube and a mile walk, or (b) Javelin train from St Pancras. Dunno how much of a binfest the Javelin is, but am tempted as it's free with Olympic travelcard (a fiver otherwise, normal travelcards don't cover it).

At the Swimming heats on Tuesday morning.

Catching the 5:45am from Northampton to get there in time - bit early for me!

Badminton at Wembley Arena today
Men's Diving at olympic park tomorrow
Volleyball at Earls Court on Wednesday
Men's Hockey at olympic park on Friday
Women's Handball at olympic park on Sunday
Women's football semi-final on Monday next week
Tae Kwon Do at Excel centre on Thursday next week

Out of interest, does anyone know how early one can get into the park with just an olympic park ticket? We have 4 tickets for the diving tomorrow afternoon (3pm start) and 2 tickets for the evening session at the olympic park (tickets say 4pm). Ideally we'd all like to rock up to the park at about 11am for a good nose around, does anyone know if I can get in early? Logically I can't see why they would want to turn me away from spending my money in the park, but I guess that they could have a number limit for the park (but then are they really going to be able to kick people out of the park who have morning session tickets?

Reckon you'll be fine - I've not read anything about how early before your event you can get in - we were in around 12:00 for our 2:30 handball.

No, got tickets for the women's football final at Wembley. I have already been to the Olympic Park for a warm-up event so at least I can say I've been there.
