I'd like West Ham to go down. Surely they're overdue one of their too good to be relegated relegation seasons

Purely because of the arrogance of some of their fans: Villa.

They were giving it pretty large in the summer, and as Maupay would say they lacked humility.

Ditto West Ham to an extent, but I have sympathy for their fans and what they’ve gone through (can you imagine if your manager is Moyes?)

One thing is for sure.. it could/would/might possibly be lovely to put our feet up and watch the relegation battle as a neutral for a change.

Amended for you

Would be my preference.

If Villa stay up, they will continue to spend big to survive for next year. Bournemouth, as a club, have limitations that Villa don't have. For that reason part of me wants West Ham and Villa to join Norwich. Not sure where Muff's wins are coming from though. In recent seasons they'll pulled out a wonder run when needed. This year feels different.

Don't really get all the dislike for Bournemouth. Happy for them to stay up. Eddie Howe is a good young manager, plus they could be one of the easier teams to stay above next season. I actively like Watford, and I think they have what it takes. Norwich are gone, and I don't care too much one way or another.

So Villa and West Ham + Norwich would make me happy. West Ham because of some of their fans + owners + that deal with the stadium. Villa mainly because of Grealish and Terry. Especially Grealish. The arrogant, lockdown-breaking, tw*t.

But were are still some way from safe, so as long as it's not us...(and even if it is, I'm not THAT fussed - we'll be fine in the Championship)

I'll reserve judgement until everyone's played 31, but I wouldn't be surprised if the bottom three stayed the same until the end of the season.

I'm not a betting man, but I assume our odds have drifted a little bit having picked up (probably) four more points than most people expected?

I think plucky have had it.
Villa look shot to pieces

Norwich have an excellent manager and belief
Wet Sham are simply too good to go down.*

Sadly I think third spot may be us.
My skill at football predictions is, however, notoriously poor.

*No, it's West Ham, isn't it? Pretty please :lolol:

So if I'm reading this right, you're predicting us to go down but Norwich to survive?

B'muff
Villa
West Ham to go down.

Norwich, Watford and Brighton to stay up.

I didn't even mention Watford in my predictions - I think they will easily stay up.

But as mentioned, I know nothing.

Your ‘Norwich Survival Plan’ will make interesting reading. If it involves beating us, I’m out!

West Ham, Bournemouth, Norwich

Villa going down would be hilarious, I think they'll scrape staying up but I would be happy to be wrong.

Ideally:

Villa
West Ham
Bournemouth

In reality:
Norwich
Bournemouth
Villa (though wouldn't be disappointed if West Ham go)

The first thing to say is that we are by no means out of the woods yet, and it could be a major advantage to be hosting Manchester United on a week's rest only two days after they play an FA Cup quarter final. But the present bottom four seem especially clueless about defending. The number of defenders standing around doing nothing when they concede has been a factor.

I agree that I'd love to see Karren Brady and the Porn Barons (snappy name for a band) glumly watching Championship football from the directors' box at the London Stadium but as someone else said, I don't think the fans deserve it. They've been s*** on enough by being taken away from Upton Park. And when you look at the players they've got, you have to think they'll get some results from somewhere.

Villa have thrown money at their squad without any apparent idea what they're doing. Tyrone Mings must be the most overrated player in the division. And that's with John Terry coaching him. Or maybe because. Still, the West Ham v Villa game on the last day could be a classic to match Hereford v Albion.

I don't get the Plucky Little Bournemouth thing at all. Go back to the Championship and pay your Financial Fair Play fines. You won't be missed.

Sad about Norwich but Jake Humphrey personally invited this on them.

Watford have some good players and strong characters. I think they'll be okay.

It would be some escape. They would need to find at least 4 wins and 2 or 3 draws from 8 games. It would be hilarious to see, as long we're the team to beat them.

Given that West Ham have the kindest run in, and Watford look to have sorted themselves out :

Norwich
Bournemouth
Villa

West Ham v Villa on the last day could be huge though.

David Cameron will be conflicted.
