Just think if Corbyn had become PM? The Tories promised us they’d be constant chaos and the prospect of an almost bankrupt Britain.

Thank goodness for the stability we’ve had over the last 12 years.
I read the thread title as 'ruining' the country.

the civil servants as they always do. and thats not a snark, politicans are there to set policy, sign off some high level matters, not day to day operations.

'The markets' did a pretty good job at asserting their control a couple of months ago
not sure reacting to the unfunded not-a-budget was "control", more fright. all reversed btw, doesn't make for headlines, bonds rates back to mid September levels.
