Who in for Whing and Elphick on Tuesday?

Assuming Elphick is out, which Slade said was distinctly likely, who should be in our back four for Brizzle?

Is Hinsh fit?

And given that Virgs seems to finally be playing the way we know he can in his correct position it'd seem pretty foolish to shift him to right back. But who do we have? El-Abd? (Please god no). And Hart has done it before but it sounds like we need him up front right now.

We've come to take Whingy for granted I think.

So what's your back four for Tuesday's trip?

Has Cook played for the first team since coming on in the Man City game?

Either Cook or El Abd at right back and Hawkins or El Abd in the middle with Virgo, so long as we do not include Hinshlewood who has been a liability when he has played.

At least Hawkins can play in the centre of defence without getting dragged all around the pitch. Sorry do not believe that Hinshlewood is anywhere near good enough now.

Completely agree with that. I would actually play Hawkins assuming he is 100%, as El Abd was truly awful today and Hinshelwood has been the same when he's played. Hawkins had a couple of poor games earlier in the season but he clearly wasn't fit.

Hawkins was good at the start of the season and i still believe he is better than El abd and Hinsh who are too small to play CB BUT ....If Kuffour plays i would play Hinsh as he has a bit more pace than the Hawk
