If this is true, then i think we will be looking for mid-table. He sounds very experienced to me, Hopefully MM will sign him.

what?!

how can the signing of a west brom reserve suddenly piush us up to mid table?

kevin, that possibly the most ridiculous comment from you i have read for some time

I've looked at his recent career appearances and he had hardly played a competitive match for West Brom, we'll wait and see how he does against Oxford on Wednesday. :lolol:

I would hope there would be a few other new trialists against Oxford as well. Now we have a bit of money and the new season fast approaching agents should be banging on the door hoping to get there players a contract with us.

i don't think we should wait for requests, we should be out there getting the players ourselves rather than waiting for them. you tend to have to look for a while to get good players on trial, especially for a club in our predicament. i'm sure that everyone at the club is doing their best to get many new players.

Let's hope this one works out... we also need a 'keeper (top priority) and a lb (as important as a cd), IMHO...

I take issue with that. last year you said what we need is a Congolese striker with dual nationality between Italy and Germany and a penchant for Salad Nicoise who on his debut should score within 12 seconds. You also went on to say that he should have a name that sounded like a Zulu war cry.

Did we get one?

No no no, you've got it all wrong Perry. We needed a Congolese striker with dual nationality between Italy and Germany and a penchant for Salad Nicoise who would score within 12 seconds. But he needed a name like a HUTU battle chant, not a Zulu war cry. Quite clearly that would never have worked out, as Lincoln will now discover to their cost.
