All of the above in this order

Fans
Gritt (and players)
Knight
Bloom

the Amex era is a different thing entirely, may as well be a new club. Which it kind of, is.

give it another 25 years and it'll be the UK-Sussex Soccer franchise, there will only be a limited No of supreme county pro soccer franchises available all other kick ball will be eliminated by property development on pitches nationwide . . . you can experience match day for only £199.99 (RRP) with VR goggles.

No lids will be allowed, on bottles or eyes.

It's all a bit "X Factor" isn't it?

Rather than accepting that different people at different times stepped up and played pivotal roles according to the circumstances at the time and what had gone before, for some reason there has to be a "winner." Odd way of looking at things.

This. Pinning it down to a lucky winner, presumably to be crowned Mr Brighton and Hove Albion forever is just weird. It's a team effort and no one person is bigger than the football club.

Silly poll.

We wouldn’t be where we are now without any of them.

Just like they couldn’t have done for the club what they have without the others doing their bit.

All equally important but for different reasons

Didn't vote - no one single answer. Bloom's money has undoubtedly bankrolled the rise, but without Dick Knight (and the fans) there wouldn't have been a potential rise to bankroll.

Bloom is the reason we have got so far but Knight is the reason we are still in business.

without Knight who knows if we would have a club. Without Bloom we possibly wouldn't be in the Premier League.

All of them. Gritt kept us up. Knight saved the club. Bloom took us further and hired the right people. Poyet started it all and would be my choice. Hughton took us further but by then we were a bigger club and could attract better managers. Potter has only kept us on a high but not moved us on in my opinion. The fans have been the best.

Oh come on !

We all know football is a team game - is the goal scorer more important than the shot stopper?

It's a team game and BHA is a club within which there are many cogs on the wheel turning success so impossible to put it down to just one choice.

Whatever happened to #together ?

Spot on, I think you can argue that without the fans,(including DK &co) there's wouldn't be a club to rise. Archer & Bellotti would have happily let it die as long as they could walk away with embezzled millions in their pockets.

Impossible question IMO

Without 'the fans' such as Paul S and others getting involved, The Argus wouldn't have found out the truth, DK wouldn't have got involved.

Without DK and the 'Bring home the Albion' campaign we would have stayed at Gillingham.

Without DK (and Martin P) and others (including the tireless FFA Campaign) we would not have got planning permission for Falmer.

Without Bloom Falmer would never have got built - DK has said as much.

It's like a jigsaw puzzle. It isn't complete until all the pieces fit together.

This is the actual answer for a stupid poll.

Without Bloom there would be no Amex and no PL football.

Without Knight there would be no BHAFC

But all of the poll options contributed in a really significant way at different times, for differing reasons. So the poll is a little bit silly and I won't be voting.

The key to this is the phrasing of the question.

There are those in the list who SAVED the Albion.

The "rise and rise" is down to Bloom (but would not have been possible had others not saved the club first.

And without the fans there is no club, so all in all it's a silly poll. With the narrow scope of the question as I see it, I voted BLOOM

I voted 'Fans'. Without the fans DK wouldn't have got involved and without him TB wouldn't have got involved. What must also be remembered is that both of them are life long fans to so in my view correct answer is 'Fans'.
