[Football] Who had a transgressive experience on Saturday then?

I think there is a general societal problem where certain areas of life have very little care for what 'might' happen and seem to think they can do what you like. It doesn't bother me, as I was in the 'nightlife' industry for a while - but never have I seen so many people openly doing drugs on trains, toilets etc around football. I think the combination of excessive drinking and how easy / cheap it is to now get class A drugs is definitely going to cause issue with those that can't control themselves.

town full of eejits
It’s across society, same as it’s always been.

Lots of fighting, and not just in the ring, at the boxing Saturday night, big race meetings are plagued by it, demonstrations seem to be angrier now than ever. To a certain extent, football has just mirrored the anger of the times.

It used to be town centres on a weekend evening were like down town Baghdad,I don’t know if it’s the same now, I’m a bit passed clubbing on a Saturday.

I don’t even think it’s down to the Colombian marching powder, booze always had much the same effect.

just too many out of control ****witts who can't handle their booze/gear.......have a laugh by all means but scrapping and lobbing bottles is , as always , deserving of it's own small island. oh , hold on.

I think its in society as a whole not football, we live in a country that is completely degenerated by politicians, acting above the law so why should others obey it. With such low prospects in society for some due to the economy, no wonder people don't care anymore.

I went out in Lewes on Friday and did not see any of this; therefore it did not happen. I went for a burger last night, no one stuck a flare up their arse and then broke into the restaurant without paying. It's all lies, I tell you.

I think there may be a misunderstanding here. I agree there is bad behaviour at the football, and that it may well be more prevalent than before lockdown. I have no time for it and would like to see the lary geriatrics with their red faces, the coke-sniffing tosspots in their 20s and 30s, and their teenage imitators all banned from football. I am completely intolerant of this shitehousery, and for the same reason I would like to see PPF booted off this forum permanently for glorifying it at every opportunity (but he won't be....).

Current day hooliganism is of course trivial compared with back in the late 70s and early 80s, but I would not wish to give the impression I regard it as simply larks, and apologize if I did so.

You didn't do both legs of the Bumley double.

Queue for the cubicle toilet going out the door
Followed by 90 minutes of taunting 'bantz'.

Plenty of Albion yoof wouldn't have had any idea about the score until they checked their acca, on the way home.

Is Burnley away the only away game you have ever been to or at least the only time you have been aware of lots of people around you taking drugs. You seem to mention it a lot.

Yeah I'm aware I do go on about it.
It was obviously my first away game for a while.
Sure I've not seen anything so blatant since, at Villa Park, St Mary's and Old Trafford.

But it was so in your face I find it tough to leave 'not us' comments alone.

There is no misunderstanding. His comments were aimed my way rather than yours.
