**** Neymar just had to score just to completely ruin the evening.

Barca worthy winners. Best team in Europe and Juve made them earn the win tonight. An excellent game. Top class football, thoroughly enjoyed that.

I'd say only second in quality to the Millwall game at the Amex :moo:

I'd go along with that, there was some good football played by both teams tonight. Barcelona just a bit stronger than Juve.

Thoroughly enjoyed that game, cracking end to end entertainment. Barca the better team but Juventus certainly gave them a good game and were never out of it until the final goal and whistle.

Much more enjoyable than watching Chelski park the bus, or this years atrociously one sided FA Cup final.

Tell me this please. What happened after Neymar scored? Did I miss the restart? I'm not sure I've ever seen a goal literally be the last kick of the game before...

I was also wondering this.

It looked like the ref was waiting for the players to get back on the pitch, and after the celebrating really kicked off, it looked like the ref thought "ah screw it" and blew the whistle.
Quite disrespectful if that was the case.

I've seen it happen a couple of times but only when the goal is scored from a penalty.

Certainly never seen what happened tonight before.

Looked like the ref couldn't be arsed to wait. The Juve players were all waiting to kick off, but the Barca players were off the pitch celebrating.

Ah good, thought I was going mad. The Watford game at the Amex would be a good example of the norm. Can't think of a game where they didn't go through the motions. 1966 final maybe?

This was one I remember clearly finished with a goal as the last kick

Remember it well (commentary care of Jonathan Pearce) - "Lukic rolls it out to Adams, Adams upfield to Smith, Smith to Thomas, who evades the challenge of Nicoll and chips Grobbelar, MICKEY THHHHHOOOOOMMMMAASSSS! MICKEY THHHOOOOOMMMASSSS!"
