I have fond memories of several trips to Blundell Park back in the 1980's and early 90's. Admittedly Grimsby isn't one of the easiest places to get to by train, changing at either Retford or Doncaster it used to take an age, and the first thing you noticed when alighting at Cleethorpes station was the overriding smell of fish.
But Gateshead have been out of the football league for a very long time, and it would be good to see them back, so my vote will go to them.
A crucial late penalty from Lee Gregory has given FC Halifax Town a 1-0 lead going into next week's second leg. So much pressure is on Cambridge with their large support plus finishing as runners-up and they'll do well to turn round this tie, having now lost their last five games without scoring a goal.
Grimsby v Gateshead tomorrow night in what should be another fascinating battle in the bid for a place in the Football League.
