Heart says Donny but head says Leeds. Leeds will be much more of a threat next season.

Donny, as I don't like Leeds and another season in League 1 will piss their fans off off big time. Good enough reason for me to want them to lose. I'm not sure that without substantial investment we will go up next season anyway, if we have it we'll be able to go up in spite of Leeds who may not have the motivation they had this season to face 40+ cup finals over a season.

Hope loads of them start crying if they lose

Donny. If we are good enough, we will go up next year, regardless of whether Leeds are in our division. I find it immensely amusing to think that MIGHTY LEEDS will have to suffer another season in the same division as such little, "provincial" sides like us. COME ON DONNY!

Has to be Donny for all sorts of reasons:
- the attitude of everyone to do with Leeds over the past season
- that Donny have pulled themselves out of the mire and are maybe about to play in the second tier of English football for the first time since......?
- the onrush of schadenfreude to be experienced as Leeds face a second season at this level.

Leeds to win for me. I don't think they ever deserved to be in League 1 really and I actually think it spoilt the division. A lot of people said they wouldn't overcome a 15 point defecit and credit where credits due they did it.

At the end of the day tho all Leeds relegation did was get in the way of a more deserving team getting promotion this season

Whichever way you look at it Leeds will be more of a threat next season whereas Doncaster are just as likely to finish nearer the bottom than the top as they always seem to yo-yo and are unpredictable.

So I cannot understand how any Albion fan could want anything other than a Leeds victory regardless of your feelings towards them?

No, you've lost me on this one. I am not sure how Donny have exactly yo-yo'd as they seem to be on a fairly consistent upward trajectory currently.

I would have thought that most Brighton fans would, at least in their hearts, be cheering on Donny this afternoon after our shared traveils in the late '90s.

Donny have been up and down the lower leagues and dropped into the conference over the last few years - I'd call that yo-yoing. Whereas Leeds are the lowest they've ever been.

Leeds overcame their 15 point penalty and still made the palyoffs and they have already been linked with a number of players for next season and have (I beleive) just captured a Swansea player.

If you seriosly think Doncaster are more likely to be challenging for the Championship than Leeds next year then its you who've lost me on this one!

I can understand the sentiment as much as anyone for Donny BUT as an Albion fan looking forward to a possible promotion push I can only think of the best for my club and not having Leeds in our league next season improves our chances - FACT.

Even more reason to want Donny to win. Leeds are on a downward trajectory and have been since 2000, Doncaster on an upward one since about the same time. Momentum counts for a lot.

I see no reason why Donny shouldn't be challenging hard for promotion. And, in any case, I think this is irrelevant. No club gets promotion unless it merits it during that season and we overcame clubs in stronger financial positions than us to win Divs 2 and 3 at the beginning of this decade.

Nonsense. Donny are just as likely to be a threat next season. If Leeds were so phenomenol they would have gone up automatically regardless of their 15 point deduction. Even if they'd got all their points back they wouldn't have won the league. Money doesn't always buy success - just look at how difficult Forest have found it to get out of League One.

I wanted Leeds to win, not that I like them but I think they will romp the division next year.
