I know what you mean but quirky is good and the quirky one (the opera singer) made the final last year so all is not lost ! The rest may have some good voices amongst them but are too karaoke for me.

Bit harsh that...but I can see where you're coming from.

She's not to my taste - in fact she irritates me a lot - but what I meant by quirky was that she was a bit different from the rest of the karaoke singers.

That camp Welsh geezer last series was very similar but he had a much better voice, Diana's rather warbling vocals make me leave the room.
