Got a funny feeling Colchester will do very well next season... they displayed some really nice passing football during our away match with them near the end of the season. Other than that, yeah obvious choices Huddersfield, Charlton or MK Dons.

No particular favourite although I would like to see Huddersfiled promoted.

It will again be very competitive and I agree PNE, Charlton, Huddersfield and MK Dons will be around BUT, on a matter of pride, the big scrap, if not for the title itself, is bound to be between the two Sheffield teams. LOL

I'd like to think we stand a good chance with the signings we've made - and the bookies have brought us in from 14-1 to 8-1 over the past month, which suggests they (or the money being placed) agree - BUT obviously our manager has yet to convince. I don't think the relegated clubs will do as well as the odds suggest, as Blades in particular are skinted, so...
Head: Hudd 1st, Sheff W 2nd, Charlton 4th-8th.
Heart: Charlton 1st, Hudd 2nd, Sheff W 24th (their bigtime charlie fans have been getting the right hump over players choosing us over them).

Preston NE. Phil Brown has a full pre-season to get things right and sort out the shit from last year.

Whose your manager now?

Chris Powell still. Our new owners are fairly brutal so with the money they've spent I don't think he'll have long if we get off to a bad start. We've also rought in Paul Hart to our backroom staff partly I suspect with a view to having him available to take over as caretaker manager if needed.

I've put 2 accumulators on for next season, 1 with Charlton to win and the 2nd for Huddersfield. So I'm guessing it be either of the Sheffield clubs

Powell is a worry to me and I am not sure Hart is the answer either. On the playing front you would expect the Addicks to go close. Best of luck anyway. I thought Hudds were a good thing at the early 8/1 but have sold Pilkington, Peltier etc. Depends who they bring in before the big kick off. Clark also unconvincing and they'd not fancy the play offs either. Think I'll wait the week after next before the retirement acca goes on.

Not Huddersfield - the heart of their team has been ripped out. Playoffs.
Not Sheff Wed - Megson is buying some very ordinary players with their big budget. Playoffs.
Not Sheff Utd - crap squad and potless. Mid to lower table.

Maybe Charlton, although I fancy them to have a Huddersfield/Peterborough type of season
Maybe Preston - Phil Brown turned them round, and I reckon he'll get them some shrewd signings
I wouldn't rule out Exeter, Leyton Orient, Bournemouth or Brentford - but in January, all would need to get some loan signings in if they are going to sustain a promotion charge.
