Poyet clearly rates Wood and regardless of what we think individually I think he will sign.

Vincelot is highly regarded and for a defender has an excellent goals return (12 in 50 odd games)

I don't know whether Poyet would play Wood in our first team in the championship.

I would have thought we'll be aiming higher than players like Vincelot, fair enough he scores goals but judging by the amount of goals they concede he's not so good in his position...

Seriously? He cost Wolves £2m and since then has gone on to play in the Premier League. We would never afford the transfer fee, or the wages. Wolves will be offloading strikers this summer, unless a big offer is made for him, Ebanks-Blake won't be one of them.

Yesterday just summed him up recently. Won barely any flick ons and his touch was very poor, yes he's young but definitely not what we need in the championship imo

Exactly. The one thing that annoys me with him is that for his size he wins virtually NOTHING in the air.

Poyet had no other option than to play Wood ,although obviously not very good he was the best of a bad bunch that we had in reserve for Murray and Barnes .
