palace are a less bad club than Chelsea but I will always want to beat palace more. Chelsea are one of the worst clubs in football though. People like Roman, with full approval from the FA, have spoiled football immeasurably.

Voted Chelsea but on another day I might have voted differently. The rivalry with Palace is obviously more important to me as a Brighton fan, but as a guy who loves football, I hate Chelsea far more.

At Chelsea away this season I walked to Fulham Broadway unmolested by the Met, got on a tube car mixed between Brighton and Chelsea and barely got looked at by stewards.
We’ll get met at Norwood Junction and kettled after at Palace as per.

I hate Chelsea as much as I hate Portsmouth. I hope they both go bust.
Palace not so much - I just want to be able to lord it over them for a couple of decades, and there's very little chance of that now that they have built that wonderful new stand taking their ground capacity to well above ours, having already beaten us to Europe.

If we lose to Chelsea I feel mildly irritated. Defeat to Palace and I’m devastated.
Hate is a strong word.

Chelsea taking everything they wanted was so annoying but our business model relies on clubs buying our players, they paid us pretty well for the folk we lost, they also have some pretty scummy supporters. Palace are palace, I do t hate them but they are our rivals so I’d want to beat them. I don’t hate anyone.

I dislike all of the 'big six' because of that status and what comes with it: the entitled fans, the media fawning, the greed, the bandwagoners etc.
But yeah, dislike for Palace is a different matter. Couple of seasons ago I disliked Chelsea with a passion, they're just another 'big six' shit club to me these days.

I don't hate any football club. If the question is which club causes you less pain to lose to, it would be Chelsea. I love it when we beat either side, but losing to Palace is horrendous.

Chelsea - horrible entitled fans, arrogant club that have damaged the game in England
CPFC2010 - some fans are OK (not all twats), horrible club with a shocking history

I'll happily sing 'we hate palace etc. but the reality is I don't hate them . . . It faded in the late 80's 90's as we never played them for years . . . . Then REMF kind of changed things a bit for me, yes they're Palace, yes they're Chavvy saaf Laandan , but they played their part, and I have respect for that.
I don't imagine Chelsea ever doing anything like that, they are pure scum in every respect and at all levels.
They had a brief Italian renaissance late 90's and it's been downhill ever since . . . . I have nothing positive to say at all since RA took over. . . . The sooner they cease to exist the better. They epitomise everything that is wrong with football.
