Who do you expect to leave in JANUARY?

So, come the opening of the transfer window who do you expect to go and what impact will that have on the team's fortunes?

I would be surprised if we didn't start the new minus at least:

Jake Robinson
Glenn Murray
Joel Lynch
Jonny Dixon

Assuming we don't keep Johnson and Thornton all season I honestly think, bar making some SUPER January signings, we could be heading for a relegation SCRAP.

With a bit of luck Thomson will be feeling homesick and Inverurie Locos will come in for him. Transfer fee might pose a bit of a problem though. Not sure how much we can afford to pay them.

I think Murray will be the only one that I don't want to go. Lynch will be off to Forest I think but if we can get a good price for him then all's gravy as he doesn't want to play for us anyway. I think Kipper will be putting a transfer request in quite soon going on past form but whether there is actually a club that wants him this time is a different matter - I imagine we'll still be stuck with him to be honest. :(

I think that you could add Loft to that list and dependant on how his come back goes Hinshlewood.

I would expect to sign either Thornton, Fleetwood, Ayinsah and Johnstone on extended loans until the end of season or replace them with other loans or permanents.

Maybe he could go to Boston on loan or wherever it was the last time he wasn't getting a game...

I fully expect Hinshelwood to come back stronger and fitter than before, and be an asset to the club for many years to come.

And I fully expect Micky to send Loft, belatedly, on his way

I expect to see Lynch and Dixon go.

I'm unsure about Murray, especially after being left out on Saturday. BUT we don't need to sell, we'll want to make a reasonable profit on 300k and, class player as he is, I'm still not convinced many Championship clubs will want to fork out too much on a player unproven at that level.

As regards Hinsh I think it will depend on whether he can make it back full time or have to go non league part time. If he can make it back I agree he would be an asset.

But seriously, I really don't expect to see Glenn going anywhere.

We held on to super Bobby for a fair while before finally caving in and getting big money for him. Murray hasn't even played a full season for us yet and cost a fairly sizable wedge in the first place. We'd have to be offered silly money to consider letting him go as far as I'm concerned. And by silly money I'm talking over a million. It isn't as if his contract is due to expire soon.

He is far too valuable to us right now. Without him we would be deeply in the shit. If it weren't for his goals I'm fairly sure we'd be in the relegation zone.

What's more important, a few quid in the bank which will most likely disappear pretty quickly or maintaining our place in this division?

There is NO WAY we can afford to get relegated right now.

Must pay a long-overdue visit to the Locos next time I'm in Kemnay. It is only about five miles down the road after all
