Has to be Barcelona for me, closely followed by Madrid.


Bayern have a great heritage but I don't see them as a great team, wrongly I know.

If you take heritage and continued dominance at a high level, i'd say Madrid. Agree with your last line. I think the reaction to Liverpool's 2005 CL win showed how highly they are judged despite the lack of any real other success in the last 20 years.

man united haven't won the european cup anywhere near enough times under ferguson considering how dominant they've been domestically

for that reason it's either barcelona or madrid....madrid are obviously spanish champions but haven't won the the CL in a while now, so i'd probably say barca

barca are also a great way to run a football club
