I voted Leeds at the start and nothing has changed my mind. Reading are tinpot, Huddersfield and WedsLOL too inconsistent, everyone else too far behind.

Leeds have turned it around very quickly, they were absolute shite at the end of last season and the beginning of this.

Apart from having a decent manager again, at last, what else has changed? Have they had a big influx of players? Players coming through the Youth setup or just that they had good players but a new shit manager every 35 days or so holding them back.

Punching WAY above our weight financially as always. But again, as always, our TEAM SPIRIT is second to none and will take us far further than we have logically any right to expect.

Make no mistake, this is one special squad of players. Would be horrible to see it dismantled and asset-stripped without it getting it's due rewards, both individually and collectively.

Tho Tony Bloom and Dick Knight and Martin Perry deserve it FAR more.

True but on last night's showing I'm not sure that I mind all that much. What we have in team spirit is very special indeed and not something that can be enhanced by the waft of a cheque book.

Obviously if we keep going as we have then we'll get 100 points and other teams won't matter, but it's possible we could have some injuries, have some poor refereeing decisions go against us, play below par etc, and finish with say 88 points. That might be enough, it might not. So which opposing team (as well as Newcastle) is most likely to finish on more points than say 88?

Based on the whole season thus far, none. Based on form since the conclusion of the summer transfer window, Leeds United and possibly Reading. From the start of October, a better barometer, Leeds United (Derby County are still saddled by their poor start).

But stats and the Second Division don't mix well.
