Albion v Bradford 0-0 Att 5741.

We hired a vintage red Brighton bus to transport us all from the church to the reception in Hove and the driver took a detour past the Goldstone whilst the game still playing. We had the whole bus engaged in a chorus of "SEAAAAGULLLLS SEAAAAGULLS!" as we drove past the ground, it was great! And the half-time scores were read out midway through the speeches during the reception. I remember feeling quite pleased since two of my mates were Leicester fans and they got stuffed 3-2 at home to Stoke, another was a QPR fan and they got done 1-0 away to Blackburn and Palace got beat 1-0 away to Ipswich so I was well happy. I also got a signed Albion football from my best man and obviously I had just married the love of my life....Happy Days!!!

The Albion played the previous day (16/4/94) and beat Wrexham 3-1 away!! Goals by Codner, Crumplin & Dickov !!!

Are you sure you got married in 1994??? Liverpool beat Coventry 4-0 on 17/4/93 !:lolol:

If you did get hitched in 1993 then Albion got beat 3-2 away to Plymouth on 17/4/93.

It looks like from the response on this thread that any game against Shrewsbury is a popular choice!!

A real fan wouldn't get married during the football season! Mine was in July BTW.

My mates dad actually proposed (and she said yes) at half time during a match at the Goldstone, anyone else done anything like that?

Moved my wedding to the Friday so that I could attend the Pissfilled and witnessed OGH's first senior goal vs the mighty torquay in August '98

Sshhh I knew it was Bradford in 93 but had to look up the score in Albion Archives.

We got married at noon and I wanted to sneak off to Valley Parade. My son gave me away at the wedding and couldn't resist telling me later that Bradford had won

Got married in June 1965 so as not to miss a game. She still puts up with me and realises BHA are my first love.

I got married on 20th March 1965 and we lost 2-0 away to Bradford Park Avenue on that day.
He still puts up with me and he realises BHA is my first love.
