Who deserves a new contract?

Contrary to opinion I would give Tommy Fraser a new contract.

I don't think that's contrary to popular opinion. It's just the one's that for some reason think he is no good are the ones to get noticed.

I think this is probably not the time for a big clear-out, so most of the squad I would want to keep - RS seems to be moulding them into a team again. A bit of consolidation would do no harm rather than throwing the whole thing in the air and starting over again.
McLeod and Hawkins can go, and Birchall (we should have let the lad grab his chance in the US - I don't think he's played for us since we turned down his chance for a big career move) - and maybe it's time to call time on Hinsh.
Of the loanees, I'd like to keep Dicker, Borrowdale and Owusu. The rest (Jarret, Bangura, Heath and Andrew) can go. Then let's try and get a settled team without borrowing another player every few weeks - it there's any cash to splash, we should be looking for a creative attacking midfield player, the best we can afford / attract.

I agree with absolutely everything you've written there.

However given the chance I would take Andrew back next year. That might be greedy though and we would then have potentially six first team strikers at the club!

And then let HIM decided who he keeps. Best also not to base it on the last few games.

I would personally be looking to trim a good deal off our wage bill.

As good as players as they have been over the years I would probably be looking to off-load Kuipers and Forster.

Both on high wages. Kuipers has looked shakey at times this season and Forster, well as much as I love him, at his age and with injury problems I would not expect to get more than say 20-25 games out of him next season.

But DEFO get rid of Hawkins, McLeod, Mayo and Carole.

The only players I would be realy GUTTED to see leave would be Whing, Murray, Sullivan, Lynch, Elphick or McNulty.
