Fair enough to all those who have pointed out he could be talking about another named manager or indeed just about any manager (other than OG, obviously).

The OP was just a little cheeky Sunday morning tongue-in-cheek effort!

Crofts "confessing" he's enjoying his football? Did Adam Tighe use a corkscrew to wring this nugget out of the player or is he just using a variation of Brian Owen's low rent football cliche insistence on using the word "admit" in every single article he writes? As in "Gordon Greer admits he's hoping to be selected by boss Poyet this weekend".

Sorry, but I didn't sleep well.

Crofts has always had a reputation as being very vocal in the dressing room, on the pitch and one assumes on the training ground. Hence why he has been captain of a few of his clubs. Some managers embraces this and some don't. It's well known that Danny Cullip was very vocal in the dressing room and this suited certain managers and got under the skin of others. If you have a player like that on side then it's a great asset to have. If your the sort of manager that feels threatened by big characters within the squad, then them players more often than not feel themselves out in the cold. Crofts was a major part of Poyet's first few months in charge at Withdean as we needed leaders on the pitch to drag us out of trouble. But in the time between he left and came back Poyet's ego had taken over himself and there was no room for anyone's voice apart from his own. I think Crofts is going to have a big season for us and I said this weeks ago before the season started. It's like having another new signing.

I've come back home.

Great post.

I am not sure if he'll have a big season but i think OG will call upon his experience and knowledge of the English game more than Gus. The big voice bit is interesting; Gus was vocal but had a quiet muse in MT which is the opposite of OG who has a vocal assistant in Nathan. Maybe OG as a more reserved character appreciates one or two of the Cullip/Crofts styles in the dressing room; as long as they are singing of the same song sheet obviously.

WTF is he talking about?

Yeah I found this a few weeks ago and I was shocked at his communication skills. There is nothing wrong with a manager being animated or even angry, as long as you can understand him.

After seeing this I would have liked to have been a fly on the dressing room wall in both playoff semi final games.

Bloom's played a blinder getting Oscar in for us to really play the passing game and communicate his philosophy to the team clearly and concisely.
