Who are the players that genuinely make you proud to support the English national side?


Milner, Crouch, Baines, Jagielka, A.Young, A.Johnson, Lampard, Rooney are my favourites. Four of which will be among the 23 party and maybe a fourth in Johnson

Rooney, Rooney, and Rooney!

I cant help it, I love the man!

I love the goals he scores.
I love the passes he makes, see's and the speed at which it is done.
I love the way he has such amazing skill that I dont watch anything another player does and think he couldnt do the same.
I love the heart in mouth moment when he tracks back that the tackle is either going to be amazingly well timed or result in a headline grabbing injury.
I love the way he looks like a love child of Shrek and a beetroot when he runs.
I love that he is entirely unpresentable and doesnt make me look in the mirror and wish I looked half as good as he does.
I love it that when he spits it doesnt completely leave his mouth and he ends up just dribbling down his chin.
I love how he is built like an ugly street boxer not a waxed, genetically engeneered super athlete.
I love how his tatoos are shit.
I love that he is ginger.
I love the incy wincy spider that is always trying to escape up the neck of his football shirt as he cannot control his chest hair.

The man can do no wrong and is fast overtaking Eric Cantona as my favourite player of all time.






Oh and I quite like Peter Crouch doing the robot.
