Would have loved to have gone but as soon as our match got moved the Mrs arranged for us to do family stuff I can’t politely get out of. ☹️

Delighted to see The Rooks take 3 points today.

Attendance anyone?

About 1400 saw two nice goals for the Rooks then a keeper error for the Whitehawk goal. Bit of argy bargy in the latter stages of the second half followed by an almighty melee after the final whistle.

Not sure, but I’d imagine about 800 to 1000.

Lewes fully deserved the win with goals by Whelpdale and Moore, who were comfortably the best players on the pitch.

Nearly threw it away, though. A comedy own goal from Nathan Harvey, who seemed to chuck the ball into his own net from the edge of the box, set up a bit of a siege in the last ten minutes.

Brighton factually.....

Pretty much summed it up to be fair.

Enjoyed the game, not been to the enclosed ground for some years and forgot how much of a slope the pitch has.
