I love the way if a band sounds like somebody else they're automatically a rip off so not worth bothering with. For the record most of the band people have listed actually only produced a few decent tracks in their lifetimes so if somebody of a similar style comes along with GOOD new stuff for me it's great news.

White Lies - similar to Joy Division/Interpol/Editors - therefore EXCELLENT!

I don't get why if somebody says to you that they sound like the above 3 bands people have a problem with that?!? Whats so bad about getting your inspiration from 3 well established decent bands?
