2 questions.

Do any of us know what they do how much or how little.

Why has a number of managers kept them on when they had the opportunity to get rid of them eg when MA left.

I have not been their greatest fans in the past but they must be doing something right or wouldnt Slade have said when he took the job that he wanted his own men it is not as if he would have been going to bring in Brian Kidd or Pat Rice, Kevin Bond, Gus Poyet or any other reasonable name, that would cost a fortune in wages.

You mean your body odour puts him off because you are so close? Then I suggest that you have two showers before a game and sit at the back.

This is the most sensible post on this thread, and packed with facts. It's like a breath of fresh air to have the truth rise up above the ignorant utterings of the foolish.

He is too nice? Got rid of Loft and Fraser who played a major part in our campaign last season not exactly nice is it. Has it crossed people's minds that Slade likes White and Booker? He had the chance to get rid of them or give them new roles but chose not to. Every time we lose its their fault but when we win I'm sure Slade will get the plaudits.

Our defeat on Saturday was down to 2 individual acts of gross stupidity 1 by Elphick for a reckless tackle and 1 by Hawkins of shirt pulling how could either White or Booker or even Slade be held responsible for either of those acts. Dont get me wrong I would like to see a named experienced man come in as coach or ast manager or even eventiually manager but we must get everything in perspective. If you look at Huddersfield management team you will understand manager Lee Clark a good ex pro. Ast Terry McDermott again a good ex pro proven as an asst manager and coach Derek Fazackerley the same as the others with 1st Division/ Premier experience.

A current first team player has said that the players don´t look forward to training because they are forced to do the same dull unispired things (the same they were doing four years ago) over and over again. I would suggest that this is why we look half a yard slower than most of the teams we play against. They like Slade however. Draw your own conclusions.

They should of gone in the summer, but they're still here. It amazes me how bad our coaching staff really is...

Do you know what they do? Like the majority on this thread calling for their heads you probably don't know-it's just another negative bandwagon to jump on for many. It's strange how they were good enough to keep us up last season.

If you'd listened to the phone in you'd have heard John Byrne saying that the manager tells the coaches what he wants done during training-coaches simply carry out the manager's orders and that's been the same at every club he's been at.

Personally, I don't know whether they should be replaced or not because I don't see them working every day.

If anybody should be under fire at the moment it's the players.
