He obviously had other options to consider, he has done so, and I am delighted he chose us.

I won't forget his performance at MK, for that alone he showed why he is worthy of the stripes and few of the other players that day were.

He was out of contract, so why on earth shouldn't he take time to look at his options? Ok, now he's chosen us - good, he's a half-decent right back.

I believe he's signed a two year deal? If he has a good season this year, let's move away from the Albion short termism that means players don't have any sense of job-security (or loyalty) - if we want him to stay more than two years, open up talks to extend his contract next summer, or Christmas 2010 at the latest, not just wait two years until he's out of contract and go through all this again.
