I always wondered way it was called a WIRELESS. When I was a kid I took one apart to see for myself. There were hundreds of wires inside, some of them obviously were important as well.



Lost my pocket money for a couple of months because of that, until it paid for a new one.

Its more to do with the receiving of transmissions not through wires like early radios I think, nothing to do with whats inside the unit.
