How many keepers have we got who are eligible to play?
If Button is injured we will need a keeper for the bench presuming Walton cant return.
What are the rules about the 25 man squad?

Well rightly or wrongly, there are a sizeable minority of fans, who don't rate either, based on past form before they came to the club.

To be fair there are a sizeably minority of fans who don't rate ANY GIVEN player at the club.

But I take your point. I just think that instead of writing players off straight away, they should be given a chance. There was a lot of chat (including from myself, to be fair) a few weeks ago about what would happen if Murray was injured/didn't start. Sure enough, 'unproven' Andone pops up with two in the last three and looking like he could be a real pretender to the Glenn-shaped crown.

Newmarket.
Jason Steele is such a great name. Could be a 1970s flare dwelling sideburny kind of guy.
He will be referred to as our ring of Steele. I can imagine the chants.

If Button is injured we are likely name one of the under 23 keepers on the bench, either Collings or Keto. Neither need to be named in the 25 man squad as they are qualify as under 21s.

That said the 25 man squad rules don't apply in January due to the transfer window being open.

Can we not recall Walton on 1st Jan then send him back out on loan on 30th Jan.

We can recall him 1st January, but seems unlikely with two other experienced keepers available. I don't imagine it would reflect very well upon us either although, of course, Albion come first.

I haven't seen enough of Steele or Button to make an informed decision. Walton looks like he is getting the experience he needs, so i would leave him on loan at Wigan.

Is there an option for don't know / leave it to CH?

Is the only sensible answer for the majority of people.

Championship keepers at best.
