Always pleased to see either club lose but not really that bothered unless they are playing us.

Not unique to Man Ure but to be honest I feel sorry for the glory hunters as they seem to experience very little pleasure by false gloating in victory and are always overly defensive when they lose...they are usually also exceptionally boring individuals...

Bizarrely enough, I've only ever really known one genuine Man U fan - my housemate at Uni, and he was actually from Manchester.

I've also only ever really known one Leeds fan, a current colleague - who was born/bred in Maidstone. So it's not entirely true that everyone in Kent goes for the Reds...

Personally I hate Leeds a lot, lot more than Man U. Partly Ken Bates, partly the scum fans (my mate excepted) but I'll leave it to anyone who knows anything about Bournemouth to explain the real reasons behind that...

Any Man Utd haters should be put up against a wall and shot for absurd and sheeplike behaviour. Most Man U haters cannot give any decent reason for the stance they take, beyond being small minded of course. It's just the done thing in this country to rail against success, something I don't begrudge Man U at all. Leeds on the other hand....

I hate Man Utd.

There are to many Manure fans down here considering where Manure are located, to many of them spout bullshit and rarely or never go. I support a real team, I like others have dreams and not balance sheet enduced expectations.

I love Hull city, Wigan and the Real Wimbledon as they proove dreams come true.

I SUPPORT MY LOCAL TEAM

Maybe it is a narrow minded prejudice, but isn't that what football is all about?

Maybe as I layed out there are valid reasons for hating Manure, Who really cares? I have prejudices against many clubs for many reasons, rational or otherwise but I have dreams for only one.

I hate man u because of their victim attitude, Their double standards, and their belief that people only hate them out of jealousy.

If you listen to Ferguson the lapdog fans. the whole world is against them: TV companies, both due to scheduling and the supposed unfavourable coverage they get. The FA is against them, punishing them more heavily, making examples of them. The fixture lists are against them. The referees and the ref association is against them (despite that famous stat of 80% of decisions going their way at old trafford). The idea that Ronaldo should get protection from violent players, but Rooney's violence should be excused and accepted because his aggression is what makes him so good.

Even on that rare occasion when h admits a player did something wrong, he can't just admit it and move on, he has to highlight incidents in other unrelated matches and make out like Man U are being victimised again. He criticises the money in the game, yet he has a couple of £30m players in hi squad, he didn't discover and cherish a lot of local lads and turn them into stars, he poached some of the prodigies from youth academies around the world, bought the and loaned them out.

There's been a whole bunch of fuss over Tevez's spell with West Ham breaching the third party owner rule. Technically it did, but the spirit of the rule is to ensure every week the strongest team possible is played and every player gives their all (i.e. they don't give their third party owner an advantage). Man Utd exerted third party ownership over Tim Howard so Everton had a second choice keeper who cost them a win against Man U and a first choice keeper against Arsenal Liverpool and Chelsea. (They also benefited from loaning Ben Foster to Watford).

The reasons may not be the most convincing, sometimes it is more of an irrational emotional reaction than anything of explainable logic. But for me, and I imagine a lot of Man U haters, jealousy has nothing to do with it.

To the oringinal question ;- I dont HATE either of them, mainly because i dont have no reason to? Who do i PREFER? Without a DOUBT The Mancs...but not Man Utd...this United..

In the 2007/08 season FC's away match at Curzon Ashton was moved to a 12pm kick off, to be broadcast live on the internet. As a result of this FCUM supporters boycotted the match to show that they won't be f***ed about my TV.

Here is FC's following at Curzon the year before

And this is the match that was boycotted a year later...

Making a stand against MODERN FOOTBALL.

good work PD, i've been to about a dozen FCUM matches since they were set up (Attilla's been too) I've go NO connection with MUFC, it's just a good laugh, a great match, fantastic atmosphere and plenty (I mean plenty) of beer!

PS out of an average away following of around 700, only 20 FC fans paid to watch THAT match at Curzon Ashton
