Following on from the thread about which teams you would like to see in the Premier League, here's my take on which teams should be where based on fan base, catchment area, history, stadiums and attendances.

PREMIER LEAGUE
Of the present crop the following should really be in the Championship:
Stoke, Bolton, Wigan, Hull, Burnley, Portsmouth.
Replacing them:
Newcastle, West Brom, Middlesborough, Sheff W, Leeds, Southampton.

CHAMPIONSHIP:
Six listed above down from the Premier. Four listed above up to the Premier.
Plus the following are really League One material:
Swansea, Blackpool, Doncaster, Barnsley, Scunthorpe, Petreborough.
Up from League One:
Norwich, Charlton, Huddersfield, Brighton.

LEAGUE ONE
Down to League Two:
Wycombe, Stockport.
Up from League Two:
Port Vale, Bradford City.

LEAGUE TWO
Down to the Conference:
Dagenham & Redbridge (in a playoff position and crowds of less than 2000!),
Morecambe, Burton, Accrington, Barnet.
Up from the Conference:
Luton, Oxford, Mansfield, Cambridge, Wrexham.

Almost put Bradford City in the Championship as they have the crowds to justify it.

Bradford's gates are due to dirt cheap season tickets. You have overlooked Blackpool's history in placing them in a lower division than Albion, who have spent 80% of their existence outside of the top two divisions. And it's spelt "Middlesbrough" FFS. God, please help me to sleep!

I once had a job interview where, amongst other things, there was a spelling test. Being an oik I got 19/20 correct. I got 'Middlesbrough' wrong. But...never again.

Seems to me that you would like to go back to the days of the old pals farce, also known as re-election.

Any chance of doing the BSS/BSN and feeder leagues?

Can you also do the domestic cup competitions round by round as well?

Blackpool. 11,000 for a home game (last Sat) against a team in a playoff position when they themselves were one place outside the playoffs. Not deserving of Championship status.

why on earth should middlesbrough be in the top division by right?!

they consistently struggled to get decent crowds when they were up there, hardly ever got anywhere near selling out

and when you consider that their fan base LIVE in MIDDLESBROUGH where there is literally f*** all to do, you'd think they'd perform a bit better on the attendance front
