My mate took up bowls a few years ago when his knees couldn't cope with American Football any more. He loves it, and has even got his young lad playing - whos only about 10!The missus and I took outdoor bowls up towards the end of last bowls season both as a sport and to meet folk in the village. We have our own clubhouse and bar. Marvellous.
