"The world today seems absolutely crackers
With nuclear bombs to blow us all sky high
There's fools and idiots sitting on the trigger
It's depressing, and it's senseless, and that's why..."
I know. Gutted that I can't enjoy 'The Court of King Caractacus' anymore. When I saw that Peacehaven Wild Kids had posted, I was expecting to see something by Peter & The Test Tube Babies. Given how many of their songs are comically offensive, it seems ironic that the most unacceptable of their output would probably be their cover of 'Leader of the Gang.'
I'd like to post Butterscott's 'Peter, Paul & Manson' but as it would possibly offend some, I'll leave anybody who wants to to look it up themselves. Instead, here's James Kochalka Superstar's 'Bad Astronaut'
A van driver, a fiisherman and an electrician got together to play gigs in their local pub - next thing they knew they were selling out the Barrowlands in Glasgow. Stick through the spoof announcement for a minute or so before they start playing - not maybe a laugh but always makes me smile!
